An historical novel with a dash of science fiction. There are many mysteries surrounding the building of the Egyptian pyramids. Djoser and the Gods takes us back more than 4000 years, to a time just before the first pyramid was constructed. Pharaoh Djoser is leader of the United Kingdom of Upper and Lower Egypt. One night, he hears a voice that awakens him, claiming to come from a god who lives in another universe. Is he dreaming, or could this be true? "This is the story of a battle between two Universal Gods. A definitive feature is their unusual and novel nature: They can be hurt, wounded and even killed, and from these frailties stem many human emotions." - Dr Tony Berry, Deputy Director, University of Northampton, UK (Retired) "This novel combines Ancient Egypt and science fiction in a classic tale of good versus evil. Told with the steady pace of a police procedural, it kept me turning the pages. For fans of thrillers, especially if you enjoy novels with a historical slant." - David Lowiticus, Surry, UK
