Teri Pizza has authored several books and is a former columnist and speaker. Her Thyme to Eat books: "Simplicity of Fresh Produce," and "Enjoy Recipes for Fresh Produce" help cooks derive the most from their fruits and vegetables by saving more, wasting less, and eating better. As one reviewer said, "They are a must for every kitchen." Teri credits her book, "COPD: Eat to Breathe Plan to Feeling Better," and a fabulous team of medical professionals for her ability to live a viable life while battling Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. >"DNA: Do Not Assume," takes readers on a journey through her personal life as she discovers the shameful lie her mother told about her birth and how Teri found the family her mother tried to keep hidden. Teri has, at one time or another, called OH, IN, IL, VA, D.C., TN and FL "home." In addition to writing, she enjoys fine dining, reading, and sitting with her husband, John, on their balcony, looking over Florida's Intracoastal Waterway and toasting to beautiful sunsets. Lynne Merrill realized early on, that she wanted to be a teacher. Today, she still teaches children with special needs from her educational center in the Los Angeles suburbs. Lynne has always written for fun, and hopes to have more time to do so post retirement. She says that finding Teri was the most amazing experience and hopes others get to experience the same joy. Lynne delights in traveling, reading, theater, and spending time with her daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren. She says "They are my moon and stars."
