Autorenporträt
Gavin Buckley is an author/illustrator based in Scotland (UK) with many years of experience producing professional artwork for industry. Having worked as a senior computer games artist for a number of years, he is now exploring his passion for story-telling and is establishing himself as a promising new talent in the world of children's books. As a father of a mischievous three year old (do toddlers come in any other variety?), much of his inspiration comes from the musings of his little boy. In fact, the best ideas for stories seem to come when he shares his thoughts about the world around him over breakfast each morning. Toddlers seem to have a canny knack of reaching top gear all the while everyone else is still struggling to concentrate on simply making sure their slippers are on the right feet.
