Do Grownups-Cry? A simple but profound child's question is answered in gentle, rhyming verse that helps children understand how tears are the result of many emotions. The verses are accompanied by lovely illustrations of the ways tears are a natural response to feelings, for young and old alike. Crying is natural and nothing to be ashamed of!

Autorenporträt
Naomi Krokowski has always loved children's books and especially enjoyed reading them as a mom, early childhood educator, and now grandma. When her young friend Miles asked her if grown-ups cry, the idea for this book was born. It's an important question! Naomi hopes many children, educators, and caregivers can delight in and ponder the answer together. >I'm a visual artist and graphic designer from Birmingham, Alabama, where I live with my husband, Mac, and two children, Abigail and Ian. I received my BFA in Art from the University of Montevallo and worked as a graphic designer and art director during my professional career. My artwork is influenced by texture, light and shadow, and the intricacy of detail. My primary medium is watercolor, but I'm also trained in drawing, using graphite and pen and ink. My work has appeared in national magazines, local galleries, and personal collections. You'll often find me hard at work in my home studio with my dog, Ripley, curled up on the floor.
