A Religious of the Sacred Heart for 55 years and an alumna of Duchesne College of the Sacred Heart in Omaha, NE, Sister Miller's service to Sacred Heart education has been wide-ranging. After receiving her Masters in Religious Studies at St. Thomas in Houston and her Masters in Administration from the University of Notre Dame, she taught Religious Studies and English in two Sacred Heart Schools, and then served for 25 years as principal of Duchesne Academy and Headmistress at the Academy of the Sacred Heart, the Rosary, New Orleans. She served as Director of Mission Advancement for the Society of the Sacred Heart, United States province from 2004-2019. She is currently semi-retired and is involved in committee work, writing and making presentations.
