EMILIA RIPOLL, MD - Dr. Ripoll has been practicing urology and urologic oncology in the Denver metro area for more than 25 years. Born in Barcelona, Spain and educated in the United States, Dr. Ripoll graduated from the University of Colorado School of Medicine with honors, did her residency and post-doctorate fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine, and received her medical acupuncture training at UCLA. As an American Urological Association Foundation Scholar, Dr. Ripoll researched genetic predisposition and the role of proto-oncogenes in the development of prostate cancer.
