Mauricio has written for Lonely Planet, Chouette, PowerKids Press, and the magazines Gourmet and Saveur. He resides wherever he can find a good wi-fi connection and strong coffee, mostly in the eastern United States. Jesús Escudero has been working as a professional illustrator for more than a decade. His work can be enjoyed in many books, advertisements, and periodicals, such as Le Vif (Belgium) or The Washington Post. Bold color and strong characters are features of his illustrations.
