About The Author Ava Cheatem, a former Child-Care Provider, has seen her fair share of frighten children arriving at her day care center. To soften the parent exit, she learned how to help the children feel safe and secure by providing interactive ways for saying goodbye to their parents and also reassuring them the first day would be so fun! Realizing that her day care children will have to face this challenge again as they entered kindergarten, Do You Like Me was created as a tool to help children cope with the first day of school. This is her second childrens book.
