This work identifies, compares and evaluates the document management adopted or not at the António Gondim Lins School and at the Ideal Private College, having as theoretical-methodological tool the management of documents as a fundamental parameter for the treatment of institutions with organic document collections.The Methodology was the Case Study, since an exhaustive investigation was carried out in only two units of analysis and with the application of a questionnaire to the managers of those respective teaching organisations, in addition to the non-participating Observations, whose records of archival practice in the research environment resulted in indications for the application of document management.
