The Revd Dr Gabriel J Anan was born and raised in Ghana where he received his primary and secondary education in the most challenging situation. He worked for the Ministry of Interior in Ghana for five years before leaving for Great Britain to study law, shipping and transport. His management training earned him the corporate membership of the professional bodies including Chartered Institute of Shipbrokers, Chartered Institute of Transport and the Institute of Export. He later worked as a manager and director for five years before engaging further in academic studies at the Greenwich University for his youth work qualification. He achieved a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Maritime Studies at the University of Somerset and a Master of Arts 168 (MA) in Voluntary Sector Studies before gaining a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the area of church leadership and management of change at the University of East London. Armed with authoritative knowledge of "MANAGING CHANGE", has provided him the desire for seeking new ideas in any field of education for exploration. After completing a programme for ministerial training course with a BA in Contextual Theology at the Middlesex University, he qualified as a Church of England clergy with Roman Catholic background. In addition he studied for a BA Evangelical degree at Elim Bible College - now Regents Theological College. He had by then been appointed the Honorary Professor of Contemporary Theology by the University of Europe. His knowledge in Evangelism enables him to discern the theology of Paedobaptist and Credobaptist and many issues especially with regards to 'Born Again' Christian and infants Baptism. The author has had several contacts with other traditional and African Praying Churches including Charismatic, Apostolic, Evangelical and Pentecostal and their members, in the UK. These contacts gave him a firm grounding and insights for his understanding the gravity of the situation regarding prevailing issues affecting the followers in their churches. He has vast practical experience in voluntary and charity organisations as he served as a chairman of Canning Town outlook, on the Board of Directors for Newham Credit Union and Vice Chair for Drew Primary School Governors for four years. He also worked as Youth Adviser for the London Borough of Newham for over ten years. Currently, he is a retired Associate Minister at the Church of England parish church of St George and St Ethelbert in East Ham London; but pursuing the direction of the Holy Spirit for the discernment of true Biblical Sabbath. He lives in Romford, Essex, UK with his family.
