Lizzie Nelson is a British artist and author living in the Chicago suburbs with her dogs. Oh! And husband and daughter. She is the author and illustrator of Fair to Piddling: A Journey Through Midlife in Humorous Verse and writes about midlife under Fair to Middling on social media. She is also a frequent contributor to Menopause Life magazine. But her most inspired work is all the waffling she does about her rescue pups, Max and Griffin. Find them on Instagram and Facebook @thedogpoet. She published the parody Jane Austen notebook Writing with Jane in 2021 and has illustrated children's books, most recently Uncle Bill's Missing Tooth by Grant S. Clark.
