Joey Hanser, a very handsome Labrador Retriever, lives along the route of the Boston Marathon and loves to run. He also has endless amounts of energy and curiosity and also needs to explore. To do so, however, he must escape from the family yard and home - again and again. While his creative escapologies win him admiration from all, they also land him in big trouble. The trouble more than doubles when his human mom wakes up one morning and finds him gone. Has his insatiable sense of discovery lead him to gratification? Or to danger? In Dogs Don't Look Both Ways, author Jane Hanser presents an adventure-filled and endearing coming-of-age story about a dog and his family, and about one journey that nobody could predict. Based on a true story.
