The purpose of this research is to analyze the point of view of immigrant women of African origin on various aspects of perceived domestic violence in Africa. The study was conducted with ten women of African origin who had settled in Quebec. The research questions that guided our reflection were intended to inform us about: 1) the point of view of immigrant women of African origin on the explanatory factors of domestic violence in Black Africa, 2) the point of view of these women on the types of domestic violence, 3) the consequences or repercussions they see in this violence.

Actualmente es trabajadora social en el Centro Integrado de Salud y Servicios Sociales de Outaouais.
