Those housemaids we trust so much might be going through mental illnesses, family issues or are experiencing life difficulties. The dependence on housemaid in the gulf countries has been increasing for many years, leading to concerns about non-parental childcare on children's growth. Mothers have been pushing the burden of raising children to their housemaid, either because they do not feel the responsibility of upbringing their children, or they do not have time because of work.
