Autorenporträt
Cassie is an entrepreneur, Property Manager and author, who was born and raised in Harlem, New York. She attended College, studying Business curriculum and still lives in the city today. She is a wife, mother and grandmother. For many years, Cassie has been a story quilter and one of her quilts, called welcome to my world, famously depicted an African-American man in a dress shirt, pants and shoes, doing a spread eagle on a brick wall. It was displayed in the public library on Fifth Avenue, New York City. Now Cassie has turned her attention to publishing stories she wrote long ago and her first one, Dominique and the Mirror, is a children's story which also carries an important message. It could perhaps be described as a modern fairy tale and is the first book in a planned series. Cassie's favorite quote is 'never stop learning. Knowledge is freedom'and she uses that advice daily. She hopes that her books will continue to be read and remembered for a long time and that she can become a light that brings more humanity to our world. When she has time to relax, Cassie loves traveling is one of her favorite ways to unwind, and where she can dream of new stories to write.
