This edition comprises 5 motets for boys' (mied) choir, handbells and six orchestra percussionists and 3 motets a capella written in 2004 for recording of Riga Cathedral boys' choir CD "Domus mea". Sacral texts in Latin form the basis of this program. In the second edition prepared by the composer, the organ part was developed so that the compositions could be played without specific instruments besides the organ and choir are available, they can be used as additional elements to the arrangement, thus enriching the musical experience.

Janis Lusens (1959) is a renowned Latvian composer of instrumental, vocal instrumental music, operas and musicals. He received several music awards and the Order of the Three Stars, the highest state decoration in Latvia for his outstanding individual contribution to culture and art in Latvia.
