Andrew Ross is the the Principal Curator of Palaeobiology at the National Museum of Scotland, Edinburgh. Before that he worked at the Natural History Museum, London. Andrew the Editor-in-Chief of the Earth and Environmental Science Transactions of the Royal Society of Edinburgh. He has been researching the Highland clearances and the remarkable life of his great-uncle x 4, Donald Ross, for a decade.
