Mahendran Nirjana trabaja como demostrador en el Departamento de Patofisiología, FHCS, EUSL. Se graduó de la Universidad Oriental de Sri Lanka con una Licenciatura en Ciencias (con honores) en Enfermería en 2017 y progresó con una Maestría en Ciencias en Entomología Médica y Parasitología Aplicada en la OUSL.
