A VITAL MESSAGE TO MY ROMAN CATHOLIC FRIENDS Is it okay to pray the Rosary? Does God really want us to worship Mary? Is the Pope infallible? Is it possible to be a Roman Catholic and a born-again Christian? These are just some of the important questions author Philip J. Gentlesk answers in this, his second book. Gentlesk wrote Don't Miss the Celebration in Heaven, because he knows many Roman Catholics who have no relationship at all with Jesus Christ, and who are content to let the Church take care of that aspect of their lives. Writing out of a heart full of love for his Catholic brothers and sisters, Gentlesk shows why a personal relationship with Christ is absolutely necessary for salvation. This book is highly recommended for Roman Catholics and those who are concerned about their friends in the Catholic Church. MEET PHILIP J. GENTLESK Philip J. Gentlesk was born into a Roman Catholic family in southern New Jersey. He served as an altar boy and attended Camden Catholic High School, where he lettered in football, basketball and baseball. He went on to play football at Georgetown, a Catholic university in Washington, D.C. After college he remained a faithful Catholic who prayed every night to the Virgin Mary. But things began to change when he read a book titled Born Again Catholic, by Albert H. Boudreau. After reading that book, Gentlesk accepted Christ as His Lord and Savior and discovered for himself the joy and peace that comes from a personal relationship with Jesus. He has spent more than 35 years sharing the good news of the abundant life and salvation that Jesus offers to all who accept Him. Gentlesk has been married to his wife Mary for 53 years, is a father of three grown children-Philip Jr., Michael, and Mary--and is founder and President of a food brokerage company located in South Carolina.
