Autorenporträt
Ursula la Cock née Kollmitt was born in East Prussia in 1925. She lived through the allied bombing of Berlin and harrowing treatment by the Red Army, before marrying a British RAF engineer and moving to Rhodesia. Her varied career also took her and her family to South Africa and South West Africa. At age 85 she returned to the UK, and continues to enjoy an active life in Kingston-upon-Thames.
