Autorenporträt
Andy came up with the idea for doodle this! in 2002 while in a restaurant with his two daughters, aged six and seven at the time. The girls were bored and restless, and yes driving him a little crazy. To help occupy them as they waited for lunch, Andy drew a few lines and shapes on a piece of paper, and challenged his oldest daughter to make a picture from it. Seemingly in no time, she created an action-packed baseball scene! Andy was amazed at the creativity, and his youngest quickly wanted to try. Before long, doodle this! was a must do activity during any downtime for the girls. Now that the kids have grown up, Andy is pleased to share the simple joys of this activity with children and families far and wide. Andy and his wife Carole live in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
