Jaime M. Monti is Professor, Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics, School of Medicine, Clinics Hospital, University of the Republic, Uruguay. He is a member of the International College of Neuropsychopharmacology, Sleep Research Society (USA), European Sleep Research Society, and the Argentinian Society of Sleep Medicine. S.R. Pandi-Perumal, M.Sc., has authored many publications in the field of sleep and biological rhythms. He has published a number of books on various aspects of sleep medicine with Springer: Neuroendocrine Correlates of Sleep/wakefulness (Springer USA, 2005); Sleep and Sleep Disorders: a Neuropsychopharmacological approach (Landes Bioscience/Eurekha.com and Springer SBM, USA, 2006); Clinical Pharmacology of Sleep (Birkhauser-Verlag, Switzerland, 2006); Neuroimmunology of Sleep (Springer-Verlag, USA, 2007); Primary Care Sleep Medicine (Humana Press/Springer-Verlag, USA, 2007); Serotonin: physiology, functions, and regulation (Birkhauser-Verlag, Switzerland, 2008); Sleep and Quality of life in medical illness, (Humana/Springer, USA, 2008); Narcolepsy: a clinical guide (Springer, 2010); GABA and Sleep: Molecular, Functional, and Clinical Aspects (Birkhauser-Verlag, Switzerland, 2010). S. Chokroverty MD, FRCP is a co-director of Neurology at the New Jersey Neuroscience Institute, JKF Medical Center, Edison, New Jersey, USA.
