Produktbeschreibung
In prose and poem, author Marigold Fine describes a Chicago childhood in the '50s, an iconic move west seeking a spiritual life in the natural world, and creation of a career as a video producer/documentary filmmaker. Fine brings readers along like old friends on her world travels, sketches endearing portraits of ancestors, shares her love of nature, and leads us down the winding paths of evolving and aging. Her soulful perspective and musings are both bracing and balm in tender alchemy. Readers will laugh at our shared human foibles and appreciate our communal grief and joy. Double Rainbow is a testament to the spiritual life, one that understands eastern and western modes of praise and prayer, as well as our most ancient pagan roots. It celebrates the light notes of daily life, and high notes of wisdom, honesty, and raw truth.
