Jenny Healey has been writing for children for around 14 years, completing studies and gaining her Diploma of Advanced Applied Writing. She loves retirement, rediscovering her love of writing verse, spending time with grandchildren and travelling with her husband in their motorhome. Jenny has indie-published three other picture books, the last one in March of last year, and one ebook short story. This is her second picture book to be professionally published. The first, published January 2022, and by Austin Macauley Publishers is called The Rubbish Bin Cat. Jenny lives with her husband in a small New Zealand town on the Coromandel Peninsula called Tairua.
