Gary Maile has a passion for words that stems from the gift of the entire works of HG Wells and Charles Dickens in the late 1960s. As a boy, he read the books avidly and, as he matured, discovered writers such as JRR Tolkien, Frank Herbert, Anne McCaffrey and many more. As a schoolboy, he loved to write and, as an adult, he developed the world in which he sets his work and the various peoples who populate that world. Gary lives in Ashford, Kent.
