Autorenporträt
This is John T. Snyder's first published work of fiction, although while he was still in high school some of his poetry was published. Outside of published works, John is an avid reader and writer of poetry and fiction. Born in Connecticut, he grew up visiting the Beardsley Zoo. In high school he became fascinated with the Komodo dragon after watching a documentary on television. Since the early 1990's, John has made a hobby of learning about the culture, language, and people of Indonesia, especially Komodo Island, where Komodo dragons live. He has also visited zoos all over the United States to study these creatures. He aptly communicates his respect and knowledge of Indonesia as well as his passion for Komodo dragons, in a captivating and interesting story.
