Being the son of a self-published children's book author, there was a chance Joel would catch the writing bug. He began writing horribly-drawn yet whimsical stories on blue-lined paper at a very young age. Joel sees words as Play-Doh- raw, untampered items that can be moulded into your creation. When his brain is not churning out puns and other play-on-words, you can usually find him chasing new experiences and perspectives, raising mental health and 2SLGBTQ+ awareness, playing board and card games, dancing in his living room, and investing in his committed relationship with pizza.
