Autorenporträt
Alan was born in Bakersfield, CA, in 1947, attended San Fernando Valley State University, graduating in 1970 with a BA in history. The Vietnam war was raging and Alan joined the US Marines and became a helicopter pilot. He attended night school and received his MBA before leaving the USMC as a captain. He graduated from Pepperdine University School of Law in 1978 with his JD and passed the California Bar that same year. He retired from the City of Bakersfield in 2004 where he was an assistant city attorney. Alan now resides in Nevada.
