Issey Sherman is a young author from Cincinnati, OH, herself, a senior in high school. She has a passion for all arts, including music, poetry and visual arts, as evident by the painting she created for this book's cover. "Dream Crasher" marks Issey's second published book, her first being "Crumbled City", which Issey wrote at age 11. Issey felt intentional about including positive Asian representation in this story, and so added the personal touch of having the main character be of Thai descent, much like her own family.
