Xie Lu (Xie being the surname) is a Chinese author whose style is deeply influenced by classic Chinese literature as well as contemporary European and American masterpieces. His language is refreshing, fluent and poetic, his settings similar to those in movie scripts. His female characters are as three-dimensional as his representation of nature's stunning beauty. Dream of Flying Flowers is a full-length coming-of-age novel that Xie completed in his high-school years. His other books include Tears of the Stars, Songs upon the Clouds and I Wish You Well.
