Kimberly Mays lives in Washington State with her husband Larry (who not only encourages her to chase her dreams but helps her fulfill them), along with their two dogs, three cats and a Goffin Cockatoo. She enjoys spending time with her large family, which includes seven children, nine grandchildren and her awe-inspiring mother. In addition to being an author, Kimberly is a certified home care aid and has been a caregiver for many years. She also enjoys painting, sketching and wood burning.
