Gail and her husband, Andy, raised four daughters and one son to be happy, successful adults. Gail chose a career as a Montessori teacher to give her children the best in education. She founded five preschools in the communities where her family lived.

Gail and Andy retired early in Cocoa, Florida. Andy loves to fish the freshwater lakes for large-mouth bass. Gail's passion is genealogy. She enjoys a casual life of sunshine, breezy days, and quiet places to write.

Gail's sister, Joyce, lives in Kalispell, Montana. The three of them recently made a pilgrimage to visit Over Peever near historic Chester, England, and Duart Castle on the Isle of Mull, Scotland.
