Tere Davies is the Niece of Terry Dixon, and the great-niece of Duncan Mc Arthur. She is the second daughter born to Desmond Simons at Te Kopuru, Northwest of Dargaville. Tere currently lives in Orewa, Auckland, New Zealand, has two adult children and three grandchildren.
