She works hard, being one of the very few paramedics who can be reliably called on to deal with any of the many varied races living in and around Angel city. Thanks to their schedules they rarely get to even say hello and goodbye but one night when Erika had fallen asleep in the tub after a double shift Rain comes home injured. She treats his injuries and they finally Angel City has over two million inhabitants, not all of them are human. Erika is a ptalk, learning that they both share an attraction. Will it go anywhere or will their lives and the danger growing in the city get between them before it can?
