My personal credentials include no educational degrees lesser than high school, two years of Bible college, and two years of night school. At the college, my studies focused on cults and world religions. After my school years, I went into business, beginning as a clerk stocking shelves in a grocery store. Seven years later, I was the manager of that same store. At this time, I received an offer of a position as supervisor with a Caribbean chain. I headed south. While waiting for a three-year work permit to come through, I bought a thirty-four-foot cruiser and took charters. When it came time to receive my permit, the officer who gave it to me told me that it was valid for a single year only, but it could be upgraded to three years for a "donation" of $500. I tore the permit up, threw it on his desk, and came back to Canada. I went into sales and started raising Appaloosa horses, eventually counting twenty-six horses in my herd. In sales, I rarely missed my target or quotas, and I always made up for any losses in the following quarter. While raising horses, I learned saddlery and became good at it. I have made many leather items for the Canadian Olympic riders, for Quarterama riders, and for the Royal Winter Fair. My shop also produced mukluks and other deer and moose-hide clothing. I left sales and opened three saddle shops. Then tragedy struck; I was tested for and diagnosed with MS. Test results show that I have cerebellar ataxia type 5. This ataxia is described in a book titled Scary Diagnosis by Alan Geller.
