Dreams & Disasters is the recounting of three days of painful agony that God used as a springboard to bring a dream to pass. A dream that only God could fulfill. Through every trial and difficulty that Don and his team faced, God proved that it was for a reason. Don takes us through a journey of watching the promises of God given in a small section of the Gospel of Mark, coming to reality. It's a testimony of commitment, tenacity, hope and victory. By the time you reach the end, you will realize, just as Don did, that miracles still happen.

Autorenporträt
To try to explain Don Adamson is like trying to explain Apostle Paul on the road to Damascus. Sometimes God just chooses someone so out of control, so full of himself...and yes, so lost in agony, it is hard to explain the person after they began serving Christ. Don was born and raised on a small river town on the Ohio River. The details of how deep he went into carnality and sin had very little to do with his upbringing. As he has said it was like "Baseball, Apple Pie and Chevrolet". He was just doing what Adam did in the garden, he chose sin. That decision sent him into a whirlwind of "Sex, Drugs and Rock-N-Roll" that never stopped until the day Jesus walked into his bedroom and into his heart. Don is the president of Acts 29 Ministries, a pastor, a missionary, publisher and writer. He is the husband to his wife Sandra and father to his son Michael and daughter Laura. His family has served overseas together and separate, following the call of God on their lives since 1994. In 2000 he moved his family to Haiti to focus on the church, both physically and spiritually. After Haiti experienced 4 hurricanes in 2008, his ministry moved to the remote mountains of Haiti, where he now calls home. The ministry of Acts 29 has brought discipleship, education, nutrition, and evangelism to areas where there previously was none.
