Autorenporträt
Koji Nakamura is Professor of English and International Education and Professor Emeritus at Konan University, Kobe, Japan. He is a former Dean of the Institute for Language and Culture (2001-2002). He has been an invited lecture of Japanese history and culture at Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) since 1994. He was also a visiting professor at the University of Leeds, UK (2004-2005). He has already written more than 30 academic papers and a cowriter of Transforming Education for Peace (2008), published in the US and Identity, Education and Citizenship-Multiple Interrelations (2006) published in the EU. He is now teaching Global Topics for advanced students and Japan Studies for exchange students and other classes. He has visited the UK every summer for the past 25 years and made plenty of good friends with local citizens, the salt of the earth, who have made Britain what it is today.
