Autorenporträt
Born and raised in Montreal, CANADA, Cathy graduated in 1986 with a Bachelors in Fine Arts in film and photography from Concordia University. Cathy has been publishing newspapers, magazines and books for over 35 years now. She published alternative city newsweeklies in both Montreal and Halifax. Covering what the mainstream press ignored was a passion that she pursued for many years. She started scuba diving in her late 20s, but once she put her head under the water, all she wanted to do was discover and explore this wonderful liquid world. In 1999, she arrived in Bonaire where she met her life and diving partner, Dominique. They have collaborated on all kinds of creative projects to do with our undersea world, including books, a tv series and many exhibits of their painting and photography. Through their creative works, they try to show people how magical a place the underwater world is and they hope to inspire others to love it as much as they do.
