Swajaldhara is a Government of India programme implemented in the national level.The first one is more participatory in nature and acclaimed globally . community ownership is very visible in the project.While working in Jalanidhi,the authors were invited by Swajaldhara community to help them to make a jalanidhi model governance in their schemes.its a narration of field experience rather than a academic experiment.
