Autorenporträt
Tracy Bouvier grew up in Burbank, California, where she was raised by her single dad, a local eccentric. She spent her teenage years riding in his crazy van, which was covered with brass ornaments, silver dollars, and stares from gawkers. As a teen, Tracy cringed from embarrassment when riding in her dad's grandiose creation, but she eventually came to appreciate the van and the notoriety it brought her father. Tracy has been a record-setting college shot-putter, a motorcycle rider (and crasher), and a daffodil picker and once lived on a commune. She's an operating room nurse of thirty-five years, and has been married to her husband for about the same length of time. They have two daughters.
