The association between root-nodulating bacteria and leguminous plants is advantageous due to their ability to alter atmospheric nitrogen into a useful form in a process known as biological nitrogen fixation(BNF). A biotic environmental stress factors including drought, salinity, pH and temperature have a great effect on BNF.As a result, there have been numerous studies into the diversity and identity of the associated nitrogen-fixing bacterial symbionts. This work have evaluated sixty isolates for their response to different water stress levels by using different concentrations of polyethylene glycol-6000,different salinity levels,pH, Temperature, plus geographical origin comparison. Also genetic variation using DNA fingerprint PCR( RAPD-PCR, rep-PCR, ERIC-PCR, 16SrDNA fingerprint.
