Secondly, the main drugs that the drug trafficking market commercializes are analyzed, analyzing them and showing the effects that they produce in the organism of the person who consumes them. Third, the main transnational organized crime groups linked to drug trafficking that are currently operating in the Americas are also analyzed, with a description of each of them. Finally, a brief study is made of the life stories of the main criminals who command these groups, so that the reader can have a complete vision of the world of drug trafficking and its criminals.

M. Gonzalo Paredes est diplômé en sociologie de la faculté des sciences sociales de l'université de la République de Montevideo, en Uruguay. Il est titulaire d'une maîtrise en psychologie criminelle avec une spécialisation en psychologie légale de l'Universidad Europea del Atlántico (Espagne) et de l'Universidad Iberoamericana (Mexique).
