The aim of this book was to study the effect of natural and artificial drying methods on the loss of dry matter in maize grains. The use of mathematical modelling techniques for dry matter loss was used to determine mathematical equations that describe dry matter loss and to adjust the mathematical model to the experimental values analysed. Based on the experimental data obtained during in-plant drying, it was also possible to adjust a regression model that estimates the loss of dry matter when drying maize in the field.
