In this study, Al6061 was reinforced with equal (4-16 wt. %) percentages ofSiC/MoS2 particles through stir casting technique. The cast samples were subjected toT6 Heat treatment. Artificial ageing treatment was carried out for a different du-ration (4-12 hours) with constant temperature of (155 o C). Wear tests was carried out by using pin on disc apparatus based on Taguchi's design, considering aging time, % reinforcement, speed, distance and load as input parameters.
