Rick "Rawhide" Wilson is an international speed-pistol competitor with a love for western and crime novels and films. When he retired, he was inspired by Elmore Leonard's The Hot Kid to share his personal experience and passion with a broad audience. Rick brings more than thirty years of experience competing in Cowboy Action Shooting to his writing and believes a gentleman author should be as proficient with a thesaurus as he is with his pistol. Rick lives in Brampton, Ontario, with his wife, Eleanor. Dual Reprisal is his first novel.
