Autorenporträt
Ms. Jordan was born in Stephenville Crossing, Newfoundland. She travelled extensively with her military family before attending Humboldt Collegiate Institute. She accredits the adventures of her own military career as the inspiration for her book. Ms. Jordan now resides in Calgary, Alberta, with her family.
