Duqu is a new sophisticated computer worm discovered in 2011, by the Laboratory of Cryptography and Systems Security at Budapest University, Hungary. Nicknamed after the names of files it creates "~DQ", Duqu is thought to be an advanced version of Stuxnet another dangerous malware discovered in 2010, mainly designed to steal intelligent data from infected computers. Although, similar to Stuxnet, Duqu raises concerns amongst security research community, as it is written in a bespoke programming language, leading to unknown risks and security threats.
