Produktbeschreibung
Hannah, an astute, thoughtful, and anguished woman is fighting internal demons in the middle of the night when she receives a phone call that changes her life forever. Her mother is dead. Two days later as Hannah heads to Jersey for the funeral, she stares at the purple bottle conveniently wedged in the cup holder. Its contents-tiny pink pills-have become her best friends, but now she must meet up with her two sisters, Claire and Zoe, who always seem to have it together. But as Hannah soon finds out, all three sisters are struggling to define themselves on their personal journeys to find happiness. Claire, a junior partner at an established law firm, is a workaholic who is not sure she wants the career she has worked so hard to achieve. Zoe, a wife and mother of two, lives in a fantasy world where she always wants things to be better, yet she is miserable, confused, and unsure if she loves her husband. The search never stops-nor do the questions as three sisters attempt to peel away the layers of their own complicated relationships and reach out to each other for the truth.
