Life gives us difficulties we don't ask for but it's up to us to solve them. Life gives us a job and takes it away, there's money issues, divorce, marriage, birth of a baby, drug abuse and then there's the big one - death. Autorenporträt
Donna Gullikson was born and raised in Augusta, Ga. As a young teenager I remember I've always loved to write poetry and short stories. I've taken college writing courses where I developed my own writing style. Over the last 20 years I've written over 100 poems and 8 short stories which the majority of these are in this poetry book. I take everyday worries, stresses, challenges, changes, deaths, births and write either a poem or a short story for each. Currently, I'm working on a children's novel (The Adventures of Andy - a black bear, Bosco - a racoon and Chucky - a wood chuck), which will captivate a childs imaganation. I'm also working on a second book of poetry. In the past I've had several self help poems published in hospital journals.
