Siwik, Barbara
Barbara Siwik Jahrgang 1939, geboren in Liegnitz, wollte Germanistik studieren, erhielt jedoch in der damaligen DDR aus politischen Gründen keinen Studienplatz, deshalb absolvierte sie illegal ein sozialpädagogisches Fachschulstudium in West-Berlin. Drei Jahre war sie als Erzieherin nacheinander in einem Kinderheim in Calbe/Saale, einem Kindergarten in Halle/Saale und zuletzt in der freien religiösen Kinderbetreuung im Dekanat Torgau tätig. Nach der Heirat und der Geburt ihrer drei Töchter nahm sie ein vierjähriges Fernstudium an der Fachschule für Bibliothekare in Leipzig auf. Es folgte eine langjährige Tätigkeit als Dipl. Bibliothekarin in der Stadtbibliothek Merseburg, die sie von 1991 bis zu ihrem Ruhestand auch leitete.
